Custom amplicon sequencing, including cancer and pharmacogenomics panels
Molecular Biology Unit
The molecular biology unit is designed to prevent contamination of the final product. The unit consists of three labs: a Master Mix Lab, a Pre-PCR Lab, and a PCR and Post-PCR Lab. The latter lab is kept under negative pressure to prevent amplified target contamination.
Bioinformatics Unit
Comprehensive analysis of genomic, proteomic, and other biological data.
Immunology Unit
Immunophenotyping
The Immunology Unit is a specialized division devoted to understanding the complexity of the immune system and how it interacts with different infections and therapeutic interventions through rigorous research
The nanotechnology unit was established to develop fully characterized nanomaterials that can be used by research and industry sectors. These nanomaterials are synthesized through research and development plans to cover a wide range of materials, including proteins (e.g., BSA), lipids (e.g., liposomes), metals (e.g., selenium), metal oxides (e.g., zinc oxide), and polymers (e.g., sodium alginate).
Cell Culture Unit
A variety of cell lines for research purposes
A newly established integrative research center that aims to advance science by conducting research into interdisciplinary disease areas
